Get Ready for iPhone 16 Series
Apple's highly anticipated iPhone 16 series is just around the corner! The tech giant has officially announced that the new lineup will be unveiled on September 9th at 10 a.m. PT or 1 p.m. ET, or 10:30 p.m. IST.
Apple has officially announced “It’s Glowtime” event for iPhone 16 series debut. The event, which includes an in-person component at Steve Jobs Theatre, Apple Park, Cupertino will take place on September 9 at 10 a.m. PT or 1 p.m. ET or 10:30pm IST.
Apart from iPhone 16 series, Apple will also launch the Watch Series 10, which will apparently come in larger 45mm and 49mm sizes. New generations of AirPods are also expected (not the AirPod Pros). For the first time, Apple will offer two new models of the entry-level AirPods, including noise cancellation features for the first time.
Acc to Mark Gurman, Macbook are expected to not be announced until October. Mac mini could be the most notable M4 Mac this year, but there are also new MacBook Pros. The updated MacBook Air isn’t coming until spring 2025, with pro Mac desktops coming later.
While we don't have all the details yet, rumors and leaks have given us a glimpse of what to expect. Here's a quick rundown of some of the key features that might be included in the iPhone 16 series:
- A17 Bionic chip: Apple's latest and most powerful processor is expected to offer significant performance improvements over the A16 Bionic.
- Improved camera system: The iPhone 16 series is rumored to feature a larger main sensor and a new periscope lens for enhanced zoom capabilities.
- Dynamic Island: This feature, first introduced on the iPhone 14 Pro models, is likely to be expanded and refined in the iPhone 16 series.
- USB-C port: Apple is expected to finally switch to USB-C for charging, aligning with the European Union's regulations.
